Consignment Furniture
Another great feature that Main Street Furniture provides is furniture consignment. From showcasing small-batch, hand-made new pieces to reselling vintage or pre-owned items, we cover it all.
If you haven’t consigned before, now could be the perfect time. At Main Street Furniture, we ask that individuals interested in consigning items send a picture of each piece. If the Belchers and their team believe that the furniture will complement their current inventory, it will be accepted for consignment. Items are kept on the floor for up to 90 days. There’s no up-front charge for consignment and instead it is sold for a portion of the sale price.

AGREEMENT
- The items are to be delivered to Main St. Furniture Co. on a consignment basis.
- Main St. Furniture Co. shall accept possession of the items and sell the items for your account at a cost specified by Main St. Furniture Co. Main St. furniture Co. will collect and pay applicable sales tax.
- Title of the items will pass directly from me to the purchaser. I represent and warrant that I am the owner of the items consigned.
- All proceeds received from the sale shall be available for me to pick up within fourteen days of the sale of the consigned item. I understand that all proceeds not picked up after six months from the sale date shall be void.
- Compensation for the consignor shall be fifty percent of the price at which items are sold. Main St. Furniture Co. will not bill for rental of the space of the consignors item(s).
- If at any time Main St. Furniture Co. shall deem it advisable to return items prior to their sale, Main st Furniture Co. will notify the consignor and they shall pick up items within fourteen days of notice. If the consigner fails to pick up the item(s) within fourteen days, Main St. Furniture Co. may donate the items as deemed appropriate.
- The consignment period shall be deemed ninety days.
